We are proud to support seven dynamic Employee Impact Groups (EIGs) focused on empowering employees to establish inclusive support communities within the organization. Our EIGs help foster a diverse workforce and inclusive environment that enhances our ability to meet the needs of our employees, our patients, and our community.
Each EIG is led by a team of employee volunteers and an executive sponsor, all of whom focus their activities on driving impact to business and organizational outcomes by aligning their objectives along four key pillars:
- Career – consulting on talent acquisition, pipelining building and development
- Culture – creating programs to inform and inspire an inclusive and engaged workplace
- Community – engaging in dedicated partnerships and sponsorships with nonprofits and community organizations, such as the Asian American Network for Cancer Awareness, Research and Training, El Rescate, the Felix Organization, Fisher House, iBIO Institute Stellar Girls, National Alliance for Hispanic Health, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Out & Equal, HACE, NAAAP and others.
- Commerce – providing business insights to help Astellas better reach and interact with historically underserved communities
