Astellas is announcing a Senior Project Coordinator opportunity at their Astellas Institute of Regenerative Medicine (AIRM) site in Westborough, MA.
Purpose:
As a member AIRM's Manufacturing Technical Support (MTS) team, the Senior Project Coordinator will play a critical role in the maintenance and management of Manufacturing'schedule, technology transfer program and quality management system. These major job functions include the responsibility to create and maintain project plans, communicate with stakeholders and escalate roadblocks/pain points. The Senior Project Coordinator will be in a high visibility role that is critical to the success of technology transfers into the GMP environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Project Management Support (80%):
Provide project management support for projects such as new product introductions
Work with the team to define activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration, and associated resource requirements for project(s) in the form of Gantt Charts.
Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project
Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs for the project change -- communicating potential pain points/road blocks that need to be mitigated.
Manage/schedule meetings with all levels of the organization
Build positive relationships with counterparts in cross-functional internal organizations and external partners
Quality Assurance (20%)
Provide input on medium and low level deviations (Investigations)
Support Change Controls and CAPAs
Organizational Context:
- Directly reports to the Manager of Manufacturing Technical Support
Qualifications:
Required:
Understanding of change management and project management methodologies
Proficiency utilizing MS Office products
Experience with Microsoft Project and Gantt charts
Detail oriented with good organizational skills and documentation practices.
Able to manage priorities and maintain timelines for multiple projects in a fast-pace setting.
Ability to work effectively independently, as well as part of a team.
Preferred:
Understanding of change management and project management methodologies
Proficiency utilizing MS Office products
Experience with Microsoft Project and Gantt charts
