Purpose and Scope:

To support the development and implementation of a global Talent Management strategy to ensure we identify, evaluate, develop, and deploy the critical talent necessary to deliver the business strategy, now and in the future. To contribute to the design and support the execution of a common global approach to Talent Management, Performance Management and Change Management. To support Global TM, PM and Change program owners in their global and enterprise level initiatives in developing best practice methodology, tools and global guidance. Build KPIs and leverage TM and PM systems to extract key data to generate meaningful analysis and insights for Global TM, PM and Change program owners to share at the enterprise level.

The role will also contribute to ongoing efforts to automate talent and performance management processes through leveraging technology and systems. This role will also support in coordinating, designing and delivering (as needed) training collateral and programs.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

1 . Contributes to the delivery of a common global standard for talent management processes and tools.

  • Supports the delivery of a fit-for-purpose approach to talent management – including talent reviews, succession planning, assessment and development solutions.

  • Supports with the design of training and supports communications to engage Talent COE Partners and their client base in understanding the talent management approach and equip them with the skills they need to facilitate talent discussions and action strategies with their client groups.

  • Takes lead in executing and running talent analytics and KPIs to evaluate strength of talent and vulnerabilities to support development of the enterprise-wide talent strategy and to help Divisions and regions understand their own strengths and vulnerabilities.

  • Contributes to project teams to align technology and systems (Success Factors) to the needs of the process.

2 . Supports the T M Program Owner with the Global Talent P lanning process

  • Supports the coordination of the Global Talent Review process on a global basis (Director level and above).

  • Supports the coordination of the Global Succession Planning process on a global basis (ED/SD and above).

  • Supports the coordination of the Global Development and Career Planning process on a global basis (Director level and above top talent and succession candidates).

  • Builds toolkits and training with oversight from Global Program Owner.

  • Supports the global 360 survey process for VPs and above inclusive of incumbents and successor candidates.

  • Customizes communications and tools to support Talent COE Partners to engage with their client base in the execution of developing strong succession plans and development actions.

  • Supports program owner with data analytics and insights at an enterprise level.

3.Supports the PM Program Owner with the Global Performance Management process

  • Supports to develop tools, methodology and global guidelines to implement and sustain a common global performance management process.

  • Builds toolkits and training with oversight from Global Program Owner.

  • Supports program owner with data analytics and insights at an enterprise level.

  1. Supports the CM Program Owner with the Global Change Management process
  • Contributes to the design of global best practices, process and tools for change management.

  • Builds toolkits and training with oversight from Global Program Owner.

  • Supports program owner with data analytics and insights at an enterprise level

Quantitative Dimensions:

  • Since this role supports PM, TM and Change globally it will have impact on downstream metrics such as employee engagement, retention and productivity

  • Supports the attainment of HR divisional TM, PM and Change objectives and KPIs

  • Impacts overall productivity through providing clear alignment between organizational and individual objectives

  • Supports attainment of business change initiatives

Organizational Context:

This role reports to the Talent Management Program Lead. The role is an individual contributor role. The role collaborates with other roles across the HR Function and interacts directly with the Global TM, PM and Change Program Owners and Talent COE Partners as needed.

Qualifications

Required

  • Relevant degree or professional qualification (Bachelors preferably in HR, Communications, Business, etc.)

  • Some experience in developing and deploying Talent Management practices and/ or training.

  • Experience of working in a global matrix organization.

  • Demonstrated independence, self-motivation, analytical, problem-solving skills and initiative to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Data analysis skills, comfort in working with excel and manipulating data, generating reports

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization; ability to communicate effectively.

  • Fluent in written and verbal business English.

Preferred

  • Relevant degree in subject matter or advanced degree (bachelors or masters.)

  • Pharmaceutical or Life Science industry experience

  • Experience of working in a business function, outside of Human Resources
