Purpose and Scope:

  • The HR Talent Module Manager enables Astellas HR to provide world class HR services by maintaining an integrated HRIS architecture and systems landscape globally

  • The role is crucial in providing an advisory service and guidance to management, and various other stakeholders, regarding system improvement, SAP releases and maintenance requirements needed to deliver high quality HR systems

  • The role is crucial to provide HR data and drives insight and analytics capability across the business to aid effective decision making

  • The role will report to the Manager, Talent Modules and will work closely with other HR Operations teams globally, across the broader HR function and directly with the Talent business specifically LMS and Mentoring

  • This role will effectively collaborate with other members of the team, customers and/or stakeholders to align work efforts, develop and execute tactical plans that enable successful business operations

  • This role will be the liaison between IS, support vendor and other HR function leads/CoE to ensure smooth functioning of the various HR systems

  • This role will champion service and support projects and focus on developing a strong understanding of projects impacting the service area and ensure service impact is minimized and aligned as per business requirements

  • This role will identify and define opportunities for process improvement to ensure processes provide the anticipated value to stakeholders and users

  • Provide guidance and direction to HR global team in supporting of all Talent Modules (primarily LMS and Mentoring) from a technical and functional perspective

  • Leads the support efforts for Talent project initiatives, working directly with the Business Process Owner and working with the support BAU team on any support needed

  • Provide best practice advice to the BPO for the Talent module and the integration capabilities within HR Satellite systems both internal and external on a global scale as needed

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for maintenance, troubleshooting and design of HR Operations Talent systems

  • Accountable for partnering with Information Systems team, Data & Reporting teams and HR Operations Service Delivery teams on system updates, to ensure any amends to requirements / processes are delivered

  • Accountable for HR Operations tools from technical and functional perspective and ensuring they are fit for purpose (e.g., case management, knowledge management & HR Portal)

  • Supporting minor/major software and hardware upgrades ensuring that change management procedures are followed

  • Responsible for the identification, testing and resolution of escalated incidents from frontline support teams and assisting with the command & control for major incident and service outages

  • Accountable for the quality of service and performance; ensuring future demand from growth and projects is understood and factored into project plans for all associated HR systems

  • Monitor, control and support service delivery; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed for optimal system utilization

  • Provide recommendations for Service Improvement Plans

  • Work with internal and third-party teams to ensure actions are taken and completed to protect and improve services

  • 5+ years of working experience with HR IT area preferably in the Pharma industry

  • 3+ years of technical experience with SAP SuccessFactors Talent modules primarily LMS and Mentoring with exposure to Employee Central

  • Experience of communicating and coordinating initiatives across functional and technical boundaries

  • Knowledge of "Best of Breed" HR IT Systems, Processes and integration models

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

  • Experience working with the management leadership team

  • Excellent IT skills

  • Proven HR Skills

  • Proven people management skills

  • A widely used international language(s) is desirable
