Purpose & Scope:

To participate in the design and support the execution of a common global approach to Talent Management, Performance Management and Change Management. This role supports the execution of the global succession planning process for VPs as well as talent, performance, and change management processes within their respective region. This role works with Program Owners and supports in delivering responsibilities for the region by handling administration, data analytics, and basic advising tasks. The role will also participate in efforts to automate talent and performance management processes through using technology and systems.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  1. Supports the delivery of a common global standard for talent management processes and tools and makes vital customizations for their region.
  • Supports the delivery of a fit-for-purpose approach to talent management -- including talent reviews, succession planning, assessment and development solutions.

  • Supports the design and delivery of training and communications to engage HRBPs in understanding the talent management approach and equip them with the skills they need to facilitate talent discussions and action strategies with their client groups.

  • Supports talent management and succession planning sessions with clients in partnership with Regional Program owners and HRBPs .

  • Runs talent analytics and critical metrics to evaluate strength of talent and vulnerabilities to support development of the enterprise-wide talent strategy and to help regions and functions understand their own strengths and vulnerabilities.

  • Participates on project teams to align technology and systems (Success Factors) to the needs of the process.

  1. Supports the Global Succession Planning process for VPs and above within the region.
  • Supports the coordination of the Global Succession Planning process on a regional basis (VP and Above.)

  • Supports the 360 survey process for VPs and above inclusive of incumbents and successor candidates within the region.

  • Customizes communications and tools to support HRBPs in the execution of developing strong succession plans and development actions.

  • Supports succession planning sessions as needed.

  1. Supports a common Global Performance Management process
  • Provides support to implement and sustain a common global performance management process supported by standard methodologies tools and training within their respective region.

  • Calculates key data analytics to baseline, set course for improvements and track progress against key critical metrics regarding performance management.

  1. Define and deploy global standard methodologies for organizational change
  • Participates in the design of global best practices, process and tools for organizational change.

  • Builds toolkits and training with oversight from Regional and Global Program Owners.

  • Provides support to the Regional Program owners to lead critical business change programs within the region.

  • Partners with external management consultancies and vendors as needed.

  • Reduce the succession risk and build strength in the leadership pipeline

  • Influences overall employee engagement and retention

  • Impacts overall efficiency through providing clear alignment between organizational and individual objectives

  • Supports attainment of business change initiatives

Organizational Context :

This role reports to the Associate Director, HR Talent, Performance & Change Management. This role is an individual contributor role. The role collaborates with other roles across the HR function and interacts directly with the business as needed.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Relevant degree or professional qualification (Bachelors preferably in HR, Communications, Business, etc.)

  • Some experience in developing and deploying Talent Management practices and/ or training.

  • Experience of working in a global matrix organization.

  • Proven independence, self-motivation, analytical, problem solving skills and initiative to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Data analysis skills, comfort in working with excel and manipulating data; generating reports

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization; ability to communicate successfully.

  • Proficient in written and verbal business English.

Preferred

  • Relevant degree in subject matter or advanced degree (bachelors or masters.)

  • Pharmaceutical or Life Science industry experience

  • Experience of working in a business function, outside of Human Resources
