Purpose and Scope:
The Marketing Excellence team is responsible for creating a learning organization and ensuring the development and embedding of best-in-class capabilities and practices throughout marketing at Astellas. The Assistant Director of Marketing Capabilities QA, Metrics and Reporting plays a key role by managing capability module QA and measuring effectiveness on an ongoing basis. In addition, responsibilities include creating reports and dashboards to clearly communicating effectiveness and opportunities for improvement. This role works with subject matter experts, IT and other key internal stakeholders to ensure capability modules provide a streamlined experience and support the Marketing Excellence Team in continuous improvement efforts. It requires strong problem-solving skills, communication and a self-starter approach.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Marketing Excellence leads to ensure high quality training modules and tools, including submission to legal
Lead QA testing of all learning modules in partnership with technical groups within the IS organization as needed, to ensure a seamless user experience with MEx Central and Learning modules/tools.
Develop and maintain clear and concise analyses and reports (and dashboards where appropriate) on program effectiveness at multiple levels using the MCF and MEx Metrics Plan as a guide
Give input to the MCF and MEx Metrics Plan based on technical options
Manage MEx Central including the social learning platform with monthly social learning reporting
Creates communications/communication tools that support learning both on, and outside the MEx Central Platform
Manage Marketing Excellence tools including MCF assessment tool and MEx Sharepoint site
Develop tools to support continuous improvement of capability module development including questionnaires and other feedback mechanisms.
Global reporting for finance and similar related activity
Support of CLD operations, including CLD communications and all hands meetings
Drive a culture of Ethics and Compliance, ensuring Integrity in Action is actively applied in all initiatives and proactively address non-compliance (ALL)
Other such duties as may be reasonably required by the business.

Specific Environmental Factors:
Based in the US. Willing to work additional hours as required by the business. This is a role with international stakeholders -- flexibility to work across different time zones may be required on occasion.
Organizational Context:
This role a part of the Marketing Excellence team, supporting the delivery of capability builiding (to SBMs and Division Marketers) via IT enablement and connectivty, metrics and insights that support continuous improvment of MEx's approach as well as communication tools.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's Degree
Work experience:
Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in pharma
Demonstrated high level of competence with MS Office applications and ability to learn new systems and software rapidly.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with an ability to resolve project issues independently.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English, with an ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet timelines that may require a flexible work schedule.
Experience working with teams / individuals with varied cultural backgrounds & learning styles
