Purpose and Scope
As a Testing Tool Support Engineer in Enterprise platforms, you will be a crucial player in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization. Our agile operating model consists of two components – Digital Capability and Digital Execution. Digital Execution is about aligning multiple missions around business goals and facilitating collaboration on a larger scale. Digital Capability, on the other hand, focuses on the growth and development of individuals within a specific expertise area. This dual structure enables us to scale agile practices efficiently while maintaining a focus on both product development and individual skill enhancement.
As a Testing Tool Support Engineer, you will manage and administer the automation, manual, and performance testing tools for our organization. This role involves a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a deep understanding of testing tools like Tricentis Tosca, OpenText ALM, and StormRunner/LoadRunner testing tools. You will use your knowledge, expertise, and quick learning to stay ahead in evolving automation tool ecosystem. You will provide technical support for Tricentis Tosca, OpenText ALM, and StormRunner/LoadRunner, and resolve issues with external agencies and teams, business users and software vendors. You’ll also monitor performance and drive continuous improvement. The evolving use and future opportunities bring a lot of variety in your day-to-day job.

This position is based in Bengaluru and will require some on-site work.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Administer automation, manual and performance testing tools, manage users and roles, manage license utilization.
Support test solutions for different environments and multiple platforms across landscape (Web-based, desktop-based; API’s; SAP, Veeva/SalesForce, Adobe, etc.)
Help in resolving issues with scripts as requested by testers and developers.
Support components of the Tosca, ALM, and StormRunner/LoadRunner, and their interfaces with other tools and systems. Troubleshoot issues within the test platform. Open tickets and work with the software vendors in issue resolution.
Provide testing tool training as needed by testing team, business, and users of the testing tools.
Regularly evaluate current set of testing tools and determine if tools should be added/removed/replaced. Perform the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new testing tools as needed.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Regularly monitor performance of the tools, simplify administrative activities, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and user experience.
Security & Compliance: Ensure the tools are secure, compliant, and projects adhere to SLC best practices, including managing identity and access and securing data. Generate and maintain related documentation including SOPs, WIPs, STL Templates and Training Materials as needed.
Initiative Execution: Actively participate in and contribute to various initiatives, applying your specialized skills to achieve the objectives and expected Value. Contribute to the ongoing realization of Value from these enterprise platforms through continuous integration and deployment.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members within the subdivision and across other digital and business units.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in relevant field, e.g., Computer Science, Data Science
7+ years of demonstrated experience in software test tool selection and administration
Deep understanding of working within a heavily regulated environment. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience of administering OpenText ALM and ALM Client or other functional testing tools in Agile environment
Experience in setting up and troubleshooting automation/performance testing tools like Tosca and StormRunner/LoadRunner.
Exposure to writing and experience in troubleshooting in testing tools like Tosca and StormRunner/LoadRunner automated scripts.
Understanding of different phases of testing like Sanity Testing, Functional Testing, GUI Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Thorough understanding of software development life cycle.
Experience in CI/CD Azure pipeline. Experience with integrating testing tools to a product suite with DevOps pipeline. Experience with integration with other systems, such as SAP SolMan.
Familiarity with at least one Source Code Control tool.
Knowledge of Agile and DevOps ways of working. Experience in using Azure DevOps for continuous integration, continuous delivery, pipelines, and version control.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation tools.
Ability to collaborate effectively with development, operations, security teams, business users, software vendors.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Agile and adaptable to changing environments and project scopes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in Tricentis Tosca, OpenText ALM, or StormRunner/LoadRunner
